US Open Schedule 2025

The US Open schedule gives fans a chance to see the best players in the world play on the famous acrylic hardcourts at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens. The tournament consists of five primary championships, men’s and women’s singles and doubles, plus mixed doubles, and the wheelchair competition. The US Open is played outdoors at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, the Grandstand, and 13 field courts, and has a retractable roof at both of the main stadiums. The tournament has both day and night sessions, and the finals are held on Saturday and Sunday.

The 2025 US Open starts with a new day and night session on the opening Sunday, Aug. 24, and the first-round matches feature a mix of veterans, rising stars, and recent Grand Slam champions. Defending champion Jannik Sinner opens against Vit Kopriva, and his path to the semifinals could include Carlos Alcaraz, Jack Draper, and Alexander Zverev. The US Open also features a top-10 player in the form of Novak Djokovic, who is seeking to add a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title to his resume.

The US Open is a great place to watch young talent, and the tournament has a long tradition of showcasing some of the sport’s best up-and-coming stars. Two examples are Victoria Mboko and Learner Tien, both of whom have captured the public’s imagination with their recent runs to the Canadian Open and French Open semifinals, respectively.
