World Series Highlights – Game 7

After a marathon Game 6, the 2025 World Series is tied at three. The Los Angeles Dodgers look to win their second straight title, while the Toronto Blue Jays are seeking their first since 1993.

Max Scherzer and Shohei Ohtani take the mound tonight at Rogers Centre for a highly-anticipated matchup in Game 7. Both teams’ top starters are on short rest, so the games won’t last long.

Game 7s are a toss-up, and the team that thinks it’s going to win usually does. That’s certainly true of this one, as both the Blue Jays and Dodgers are feeling it.

The first inning was a doozy, with both sides trading runs. George Springer smacked a leadoff single against Tyler Glasnow, and Vlad Guerrero reached on an infield single.

Both sides then went to their bullpens, and both teams cleared the benches. It was a tense moment, and one that could have gone very wrong.

That’s when Will Klein came in. A former long man who had the low-key distinction of throwing a 105-pitch complete game in Game 2, he was on fumes and did not want to get pulled. But he did, and he held the runner on third base to end the inning.

Those two plays are why Klein is called “World Series hero.” He was the last man in L.A.’s bullpen, and he made it count. Subscribe now for full access to MLB content and more.
